Good question!  I waited until I had adhered the sides together before punching my holes.

Otherwise it requires measuring to make sure the holes meet up.   You'll need the holes on both sides to feed the ribbon through.

Wow that was amazingly fast and way easier than I had imagined!  I was lost for a few minutes there, but I found myself again ;)  Way cute, too... I'm off to embellish!   Thanks so much!

To help clarify step #4 (super-confusing, I know... :) )

1.  start at the top (horizontal) center of the paper (2.5 inches across)
2.  score from the top center to the left side of the paper at the vertical center(5 inches down)
3.  start again at the top (horizontal) center of the paper (2.5 inches across)
4.  score from the top center to the right side of the paper at the vertical center (5 inches down)

Repeat the steps to make the two other scored lines on the bottom half of the paper.

Basically, in this step, you're creating the left & right sides of the triangle.

Yes, make a scoring line from the dot you made to the left side of the first score we did, then again from the dot to the right side of the first score we made.  You're correct :)
